Hi there! How are you? Nice of you to stop by the Karema Care Center!

My name is Karema—the creator/blogger/natural skin & hair care enthusiast behind Karema Care…a blog dedicated to helping women (and men) who are looking to get on the “ORGANIC” healthy skin and hair bandwagon!

This blog is perfect for you if you:

  • Are tired of all the chemical-filled products that cost a fortune, brag on promises of big results: yet fail to pull through on those promises!
  • Are obsessed or simply fascinated with achieving the best results from your hair and skin care regimen the optimal and most natural way possible.
  • Hope to achieve healthy, glowing skin—without breaking your bank account or your epidermis!
  • Want to be more confident in the skin you live in; taking control of how you feel, look and how people see you.
  • Can’t get enough of Essential Oils and other natural hair and skin care products.

You’ve come to the right place!

As the slogan suggests, Karema Care is about helping women (and men) to put their BEST selves forward.

You are probably wondering who the heck am I and what’s the point behind all of this.

Well, here is a little bit of detail about me:

The Face BEhind Karema Care

I am a 25-year-old woman and a dedicated blogger by night and on weekends + an Internal Sales Assistant (in the Container Shipping Industry) by day (weekdays 8:00 a.m to 5:00 p.m).

My current place of abode is in the beautiful countryside of the even more beautiful tropical island paradise called Jamaica, where I am an “involuntary” tenant in my parents’ home (haha!) until I am able to move into my own apartment.

A proud kitty lover (mom of 4 precious little black kitties), and junk food eater who also enjoys reading, music (particularly from the genres: “Souls”, R&B, POP, and Dancehall) and browsing the internet — be it social media or doing research for developing my website.

The Why Behind Karema Care

A heart of gold

The organic, personal-care products market is growing at a rapid pace across the world. Why? Because more and more people are becoming conscious of their health and well-being.

Rising concerns for health & safety, increasing green consciousness and growing consumer awareness about the hazards in synthetic chemicals, such as parabens, phthalates, and aluminum salts, has fueled the demand for organic personal-care products all over the world!

Personally, I believe that this demand is a great opportunity for brands who are all about health and beauty awareness and if we are being transparent, I, as someone who’s transitioning to natural hair as well as someone who suffers from hormonal acne (courtesy of PCOS…BTW, the worst!), also fall into one or more of the aforementioned categories and wanted to create my very own brand awareness campaign. Heck, why not try to help others at the same time as I’m trying to help solve my own skin problems and insecurity issues? I thought.

Thus, Karema Care was born! 🙂

How do I plan to help?

Help & Support

Like many of my peers, of all races, class and/or creed, all over the world, I aspire to achieve a sense of self, security, and confidence in how I look and feel.

I know what it is like to stress over not having your hair come out the way you wanted it (hours before work/school/or a hot date), or having to bake my face in makeup because Mr. Pimple decided it was his time to face the world, or worse, when you have a ton of dark spots that stand as strong as an army despite you spending butt loads of dollars on every face product known to man and social media!

I especially know how it feels to want to walk down the street barefaced without wondering what the next guy is thinking about you (and I’m all for empowerment and self-assurance, but we have to admit that we’ve all been there at least once).

I know I am not alone, so I want to help others with similar hopes, do just that without having to remain enslaved by the confines of society’s beauty standards.

At Karema Care, I am dedicated to promoting a unique blend of rare natural herbs (flowers, resins), natural oils, and forest products that are free from chemicals and toxic materials, and offer both a safe and natural experience to all its users.

As a “victim” so to speak, I understand the struggles associated with unmanageable hair (4C we see you!), and problematic skin types (oily and combination skin, again, we are talking about you!), thus I plan on recommending the BEST remedies through detailed guides, tutorials, DIY posts, and other informative content so that we all (myself and my readers) can be of benefit.

It is important to note, however, that I am not a dermatologist or health care professional and I implore you not to consider me as such. This website and the articles published within it is simply and strictly for educational, informational and/or entertainment purposes only. Karema Care does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. With that being said, I want to make it known that authenticity is a key core value behind Karema Care, so I will be real with you and tell you that I am NO expert, and I won’t pretend to be.

Now that that is out of the way, let us all support each other on our mission to “Put our BEST selves forward!”

**We’re all in this TOGETHER!**

United we stand strong! Team work makes the dream work.

I ask that if I share anything that captures your interest, that you make it known by leaving a comment.

I love hearing from you, and it fills my little heart to know that I’m helping someone.

No person’s view, no matter what it is about, is irrelevant here. You may not know how your “one little” comment may affect someone else.

A cautionary note, however, is for you to be mindful that I, and every other reader here, am human—with feelings—SO BE RESPECTFUL, please.

If you ever need a hand or have any questions, feel free to leave them below and I will be more than happy to help you out.
